Artist's Description

The drive is quiet, as I looked out the window. I close my eyes for a second, and recall a better day, so happy…playing in the grass, outside on a breezy summer day. I open my eyes, to see the rain to sprinkle down… “I miss you,” “Remember Isis, our little Itty bitty kitty, and the late nights to the store, to get food for our furry little baby, as she was still nursing.” So tiny, so feeble. “Our mountainside hikes, over looking a town whose back was always turned away, from us.” “How I would wait every night for you at work, waiting for you to get off so I could see your beautiful face, and spend my night wrapped in your arms.” So many years have passed…leaving me here… The drive is silent still, all noise seems to have faded away. as the rain pours down against the window. It really fits the mood. “Why does it have to be this way?” “I am here and you are so far away” A world apart. A warm tear flows down my cheek, as I continue down the street, cruis’in memory lane.
