J. J. Mata

My art is an invitation to step closer, to explore the liminal spaces where lights and shadows meet, where reality and dreams hold time, where the familiar becomes strange, and where you might just find reflections of yourself in the cracks. It is not intended to feel cohesive as the only brand it will ever carry is the core of myself. It isn’t meant to explain, it’s meant to provoke, to stir, to haunt. It’s the taste of nostalgia laced with a sharper weight of curiosity tinged with dread.
