Artist's Description

A fully restored steam train engine 207
One of the steam engines use to pull the cockle train between Goolwa and Victor Harbour.
Designed in the 1880’s, built in 1913, decommissioned in 1960’s when steam stopped being used to pull the local trains.
Brought back to service in the late 1960’s as a tourist train,
Restore and built back to top condition in 1990’s
Still used each regularly (when bush fire condition allow during summer) to pull the Cockle Train.
