Artist's Description

Novolo Slugs are distant and close cousins of Oglon Slugs which are part of the Shelladiopside family of species. Novoloslugs gestate every other tri-mifa moon cycle when the brown dwarf is in it’s winter cycle. They can lay up to ten trillion eggs however only four to five may survive the early thorax molting. Novolo Slugs are also on top of the slug food chain and can grow to be the size of a Wipping Lear with footed incisors. That is almost as tall as seven story building. A Novolo Slug can shed up to 1,800 shells in it’s ten millennia life time while only being able to mate but once in a life time. Early Pakistani Strarfleet Explorers who were the first humans to discover Novolo Slugs amongst others related to this species found that the slug’s slime shield had amazing healing properties to injuries of all kinds that it was far more effective by a 1000 times to that of aloe vera.
