Artist's Description

My wife Cindy and I were in a 50’s retro diner in western Massachusetts, when I noticed on the wall a reproduction of the Gottfreid Helnwein painting, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”. If you’re not familiar with it, it is a takeoff on the Edward Hopper diner scene, Nighthawks", but with Marilyn Monroe, Bogie, James Dean, and Elvis in place of Hopper’s original diner patrons. Cindy was a good sport and happy to pose for the camera in front of the painting with drink in hand. This image is a selection of objects and lines from one of the photos from that shoot.
