Waking

There was rain outside my window this morning. I wanted to be the Zinnias with my face to the sky catching the drops in my eyes and mouth, swaying back and forth like sea grasses in morning light.

Finches bunched up under the leaves in trees, as if each one was a nature made umbrella..:)) Yellow against green, as if I couldn’t spot that! Roses sat beneath the pour in disdain and wept because it wasn’t very nice of the rain to muss their petals. Oh the vanity in nature…heheee!

Did you know that for each drop hanging from a leaf there is a purpose being delivered? Each time the sky opens up the liquid crystals fall to motivate and inspire life. Nothing gets in the way of the flow, it will find a hill, crack or slope to run down in order to fulfill it’s purpose. Movement is everything to the raindrop, it doesn’t stop until it has become another living thing.

Among the morning awakening I heard a strange bell. It had a fragile sound to it, as if it could barely ring. I walked to the door and looked out. There among the overgrown trees near the edge I could just make out something swinging on a limb. A chime of sorts, abandoned and old. Left there to bring the garden to life when storms rained down I think. A small Sparrow landed on a limb above it and just sit there in the rain looking at me while the chimes rang softly. My morning was complete…
Good morning!
