Portraits In Solitude II

Portraits In Solitude II

Actually, I don’t want you to know about last night. I’m a man and you keep pushing at me. You keep asking about the lawn and the children and why I was so late from work that you had to eat dinner without me. Can’t you figure I need my space?
The boys said, “come for a beer, don’t mind the missus mate,” and I went to the lounge. And I went to the bar and I went to the woman. And it’s not that I don’t love you anymore and I’d never do anything to hurt the kids. I still love you, I don’t hate you. When tomorrow comes, it’ll all be different. I’ll change, I promise, it’ll never happen again.

What do you mean I’ve put our whole lives in jeopardy?
