Dawna Morton was raised in Portland, Oregon where she discovered her love of painting at an early age. Her love of family and nature provide the basis for her works. Watercolor is Dawna’s medium of choice. She loves its luminosity, which brings her vision of brightening the world and the lives of others forward. Currently residing in Rainier, Oregon with her family she finds much of her inspiration in the forests surrounding their home.

why I haven't posted new photos lately

The power went out, and like an idiot I neglected to unplug the computer. Oh wo is me, when the power came back on it fried my pc! Hopefully it is just the motherboard, since 4 months worth of my photo lie unposted and unbacked up there—not to meantion all of the past several years worth of family photos as well! I hope to have the cash to upgrade the necessary parts in another month or so…
