Pearl Harbor Oahu Hawaii USA
Fire gear captured on board the USS Missouri (BB-63) (“Mighty Mo” or “Big Mo”). The United States Iowa-class battleship is docked at Pear Harbor and is now a museum. It was the last battleship commissioned by the United States and was the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan which ended World War II.
And here is a bit of info for my local followers. :
The Bethlehem Steel (In Bethlehem Pa.) is where the 16-inch guns and armor plating for the USS Missouri were forged, turned, bored and quenched — the Missouri was the fastest battleship and it has the largest guns ever put to sea.
