I am an award winning artist and have sold my work to people from 57 different countries on 6 continents. My art has been featured in several different shows and galleries in the US, from Washington to Tennessee, and I hope to be featured soon on the east coast. My self-taught style speaks for itself. I’m not trying to emulate anyone and I don’t paint for the masses; I paint for the joy of painting and I paint what I feel. My art is not for everyone, but if you are looking for something a bit out of the box, then I’m your girl. The Art Farm is the brain child of Melissa Krumpe and Damien Freeze. We are just in the start up phase of our non profit. We have taken care of all of the paperwork and now we are fund raising to make our dreams come true. The Art Farm is a nonprofit organization which provides art instruction and much needed supplies to underprivileged youth across the country. Our mission is to procure and develop property on which to develop a self-sustaining, environmentally friendly collective of artists dedicated to the preservation of the creative arts. The goals of the collective include educating, inspiring, and motivating future generations of artists by providing art instruction and supplies to those who could not otherwise obtain themOur vision is to create an environmentally sustainable sanctuary for the creative arts. We seek to bring together struggling artists, art instructors, and future artists; and to provide them with an inspirational environment in which to develop their talents together. Our goal is to preserve the creative arts and the inner spark which drives them, for the benefit of all society. This store front is going to be used to promote many artists from across the country. We are charging the fee charged by Cartfly and the rest of the money will go directly to the artist. The Art Farm is also using this store as a form of fund raising. Damien Freeze and Melissa Krumpe, the co-founders of the Art Farm, are donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to the Art Farm, and encouraging other artists to donate, as well. There is no mandatory donation, though, and artists are welcome to keep all of the proceeds from the sale of their work (less Cartfly charges, of course). If you would like any further information about The Art Farm, please check out our MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/cultivatingcreativity
