Artist's Description

Based off an Attic black-figure plate from 550 B.C.
This is my personal translation of a very obscure image via studying the highly deteriorated black-figure plate. I suspect that this illustrates Dionysos and Ariadne in a matrimony pose symbolic of their union. He holds the horn with wine which she is about to receive in her cup, while offering the God a flower.

This has been specifically designed to be put on a white background, however I am open to requests for alternative colours/backgrounds.
