Artist's Description

What looks to be chalk scribble on the barrel ends, actually tells the winemaker and cellar hands all they need to know about the contents – from what varietal it contains to the vineyard block the grapes came from … “Lees” are the dead yeast cells which sink to the bottom of the barrel, and are sytematically stirred to impart more flavours to the wine.
Taken on location at OAKRIDGE in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. I HIGHLY reccomment the “864” Reserve Shiraz!!! Num nums …
