I am a paleoecologist / paleolimnologist specializing in microscopic algae known as diatoms. Diatoms have an opaline cell wall (frustule) that readily fossilizes, allowing me to explore their occurrences over very long time scales. I like making tiny, intricate organisms visible and enjoyable to everyone. All profits from sales on this site are currently directed toward student research!
