I REMEMBER HER TELLING ME HOW MODERN SHE WAS,AND DARING I SUPPOSE.IT WAS ABOUT THIS TIME WHEN BRIDES STARTED TO WEAR SHORTER DRESSES….VERY DARING,HERS CAME TO JUST EVEN WITH HER KNEES.HER SHOES WERE WHITE KID WITH SILK RIBBONS,AND SHE HAD TO CLEAN THEM WITH POWDERED CHALK. HER VEIL WAS DOTTED WITH TINY CREAM COLOURED PEARLS TO LOOK LIKE CHERRY BLOSSOMS. HER SISTER THE BRIDES MAID WAS ALL DECKED OUT JUST AS PRETTILY,FLOWERS,LACE,ALL THE TRIMMINGS.OH…..AND THE GROOM AND BEST MAN…..THEY WERE THERE TOO…….THEY WORE THEIR BEST SUITS.
