That’s a big and great looking memorial David – a bit different to the stone cross on the edge of the village green as in so many small places ! Great angle.
You’re right, this is some village green, in fact an old volcano crater. I’ll post some more pics so that you can see what the graves look like, they’re quite different.
A great wide angle view, very nicely proportioned. If you’ve ever seen photos of the war memorial in Canberra there are certain angles which are very similar to this.
