Balancing Rock on Long Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. Not a very good picture, I’m afraid, as unfortunately it was taken at entirely the wrong time of day, straight into the setting sun, and had to be considerably worked on and beaten into shape to even get this.
To get to the rock involved a long hike along a path through the woods, culminating in 235 step descent down a cliff. As if this wasn’t bad enough, there was a 235 step ascent UP the cliff, which put paid to yours truly for the rest of the day! I’ll tell you, this getting old lark is not all it’s cracked up to be! lol.
