Indigenous to East & Southern Africa Avatar Challenge!

From the beginning of this year, we have limited the challenges run in the group to two per year with the winning image for each challenge being made the group’s avatar for the following six months.
A new challenge Endangered Species, has just been announced, so let’s see lots of entries from group members.
For any group members who have been displaying the banner below of their profile page, the address has changed and you will notice that the image has changed into a question mark. If you would like to put it back in, right click on the image below and click on copy image location and insert the saved address into your profile between two !s as normal.

Changes to the Indigenous to East & Southern Africa Group

Some of you have noticed and commented on the fact that I am now a one man band following the departure, for personal reasons, of my co-host.…

It is a great pleasure to host such an active and talented group and I am very happy to carry on. Having said that, it’s your group as well and I should welcome any suggestions you have to make it better.

On that subject, I have had a few ideas of my own which I have now implemented. Basically, it’s about the challenges. I have thought for a while that there are too many. Red Bubble has hundreds of groups, many of which have regular challenges and it’s just too hard to keep up. The consequence of this is that our group challenges normally only have a handful of entries. I am therefore going to limit the number of challenges to two per year, both of
