The Monarch's Wings

I really would be first to admit
I know so little about
Right and wrong
(perhaps, even less of truth)
Till the outcome;
When the hope
Finally lands safely,
Or that painted sliver
Of quarter moon
After thrown
Comes back
Not to clobber
Or haunt
As endless circles—

So, right or wrong
We agree upon…
When we agree upon;
And the Bible tells
Us so…
Depending on the
Translation—
Those subtle nuances
That sometimes lead
To great wars;

Yep, most of what
We think we know
Is handed down

And down and down
Before our down

It is a cooperative—
And far lower
I would guess
The pure axioms
Of a Higher monarch,
The Giver
Of our fly’s
Only large
And
Colorful
Wings
When
Excercised
Alone….
