Artist's Description

This is the recently completed building housing the Menzies Research Institute which does population and medical research, and the University of Tasmania medical school.
It has been a controversial building from an architechtural point of view, most people either love it or hate it.
I happen to like it.

If you think the perspective is distorted, maybe it is slightly, but not how you think. This building is not made up of straight lines and square corners…the roofline is not flat, many corners are rounded and the windows are “distinctive” to say the least.
