St Albans Gallery - closing exhibition

TURNING OF THE WHEEL exhibition heralds the closing of St Albans Gallery . Gallery owner/curator Suzie Startin has invited artists who have had exhibitions at the gallery over the last 12 plus years to be part of a stunning final exhibition, with a Gala Opening on Saturday 10th October 2-6pm. All are invited to come and celebrate almost thirteen years of this “gem in the wilderness” as more than one visitor has referred to St Albans Gallery.
Artist exhibiting include Carolyn Clarke, Karla Dickens, Victoria Peel, Carol Griffin,Leanne Tobin, Edna Mariong Watson, Enid Colquhoun, Ulric Steiner, Gael Dunshea, Jean Robinson and Mellissa Read-Devine.

Fabulous Display at the North Shore Craft Group

I wanted to take the opportunity to invite you to the latest exhibition I am involved in. There is a fabulous range of work on display and for sale.

This year’s exhibition will be officially opened by Helen Leete, Award winning sculptor.
Opening night Wednesday 24th June from 6.30pm – 9pm at Ku-ring-gai Town Hall, 1186 Pacific Highway Pymble
Exhibition Hours:Thursday 25th – Saturday 27th 10am – 6pm daily, Sunday 28th 10am – 4pm.
Vote in our “People’s Choice Award” before 4pm Saturday for the chance to win $400 to spend at the exhibition. The winner will be notified for shopping on Sunday.

New Exhibition at Wisemans Ferry

I am in a group show opening on Saturday 28th February, 4pm at The Ferry Artists Gallery, Northern Road, Wisemans Ferry.

Entitled “Wax, Paint, Print” it is a collection of Paintings in encaustic, mixed media and acrylic as well as a collection of prints. The three artists are Jacki Dessaix, Heather Winch and myself. The show will run for one month.

Hawkesbury River Printmakers Exhibition

Local artists who are practicing printmakers have combined their talents to open a new exhibition at the Deerubbin Centre for one weekend only. A rare opportunity to learn about and appreciate the art of printmaking in its varied forms.

The artists involved are in all stages of their artistic careers; from highly respected established artists to art students currently studying. Some practice printmaking as their ‘medium of choice’, others are known for their paintings and other art forms.
