Stuff I've Sold, OMG!

It’s nice to think that someone likes what you have done, particularly when they pick your favorites.

I haven’t sold much, but what I have sold is dear to me, so I decided to list them and give a little background on each one. This is the first one.

Taken with my old camera, a Panasonic, which was a great camera (gave it to my daughter-in-law who has made good use of it). This photo of a peacock taken in Monroe, CT. has been a popular one. It was in the German magazine, Maxx, and I sold a large one at Etsy. It seems to be a popular one here on RedBubble, too. I’ve also had two different artists ask permission to paint it. The peacock’s eyes follow you around the room.

The peafowl are forest birds that nest on the ground but roost in trees. They also have a very high, shrill cry when they looking to mate. They have a varied diet: eat most plant parts, flower petals, seed heads, insects and other arthropods, reptiles, and amphibians.
