"They Gonna Hang me from a Tree"

Hold me down little Mama, don’t you let me up free.

Hold me down little Mama, don’t you let me up free.

‘Cause I got me a hatin’. Got a mean ol’ hatin’ on me.

Hold me down little Mama, don’t you let me up free.

Hold me down little Mama don’t you let me up free.

‘Cause I’m on a road of self destruction, that be my destiny.

I like to go drinkin’ every night, alway around lookin’ for a fight .

Punchin’ ‘em left, punchin’ ’em right, you can count on me.

And if you let me up free , little Mama, they gonna hang me from a tree.

Artist's Description

Written in Southern-Style bottle neck blue or Delta style.

When ever I feel down or hopeless I write a blues song, something about those tunes and the fact I aint the only one out there, hit’s home. It’s the perfect way for me to vent out my “blues” The song has nothing what so ever to do with MY reality, it about the feeling the subject projects not the words themselves.
