Artist's Description

this was created as a 24in x 16in poster so the texts (reprinted below) are a little hard to read in the card size but they are very clear and legible even so. they show great in the larger sizes. I’d never been struck quite the same before with how ruth, a non-jew, was an ancestor of Jesus. she was grafted in for her love and faithfulness, a clear foreshadowing of what was to come.
this one is dedicated to all, regardless of race or national origin, who by grace have faith in and love for the Christ Jesus

the stars are also available as wrapping paper

But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you
or turn back from you. Where you go I will go,
and where you stay I will stay. Your people
will be my people and your God will be my God.”
RUTH 1:16

Then the women said to Naomi:“Praise be to the Lord, who
this day has not left you without a kinsman redeemer. May
he become famous throughout Israel! He will renew your
life and sustain you in you in your old age. For your
daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you
than seven sons, has given him birth.” Then Naomi took the
child, laid him in her lap and cared for him. The women
living there said, “Naomi has a son.” And they named him
Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.
RUTH 4:14-17

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby,
keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the
Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone
around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said
to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great
joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of
David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you; You will find a baby wrapped
in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company
of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God
and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth
peace to men on whom his favor rests.”
LUKE 2:8-14
