Artist's Description

Home of the cliff-dwelling Anasazi people in Mesa Verde National Park, CO, USA. The Anasazi Indians, also known as the ancient people are the ones that historians and researchers give credit to for the fascinating cliff pueblos found throughout the Four Corners area of what is now Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah around 2000 BCE. Their cliff dwellings are believed to have been built into the cliffs for protection from invaders.
