    Dean Lee Uhlinger: Dean was taught in the school of experience, beginning with his father's camera at the age of 14. He began shooting sunsets and seascapes where he grew up in Carlsbad, CA in the seventies. Falling in love with desert landscapes, Dean explored the southwest deserts in search of dynamic compositions...Death Valley, The Mojave, Borrego, Sonoran, East Sierra-Alabama Hills and then on to the high deserts of Arizona and Utah.
