I photograph Art Deco architecture anywhere I can. / My photos were featured during the Art Deco 1910 – 1939 exhibition at the NGV,...

I have a passion for Art Deco and I love photographing the architecture of that period but also other thins that catch my eye.

I have attended many World Congress on Art Deco since 1997 including those hosted by such wonderful cities as Los Angeles, Napier, Tulsa, Cape Town, New York, Montreal, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, Cleveland and my home town of Melbourne.

My photos were used to form a major part of multimedia slideshows during the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces Exhibition – Art Deco 1910 – 1939 at the National Gallery of Victoria which ran from late June to early October 2008.

A large number of my photos featured in Melbourne Art Deco (2009, reprinted 2014) by Robin Grow. I’ve also had photos included in The Australian Encyclopedia of Architecture (2011), editors, Philip Goad and Julie Willis; Grand Central Terminal: 100 Years of a New York Landmark (2013), by the New York Transit Museum and Anthony W Robins; Design with Colour and Style (2015), by Shaynna Blaze; and Art Deco Architecture Across Canada (2017), by Tim Morawetz.

I am a long-standing member of the Art Deco and Modernism Society of Australia (artdeco.org.au) and regularly contribute photos, and occasionally articles, for publication in our journal, Spirit of Progress.

I am a foundation member of the Port Melbourne Historical and Preservation Society (www.pmhps.org.au).
