Artist's Description

Wooly sits proudly adding his lovely, soft dove-grey self to a perfectly staged colored and textured area.
The white you see on his chest is his shirt front- his coat isn’t buttoned yet. The white you see below his waist is his small-clothes; he buttoned his pants, but forgot to zip them! And since he was already late, they just put him in the chute as-is, and down he came from Heaven. And in the rush to the chute, he stepped in milk, so some of his toes are white!

My cats are trained to pose- I first trained the 16 year old, Nevada, when she was a kitten. She trained her adopted children, Sebastian (not Sabrina, though)
and Sebastian loves to model, even taking hand signals to move or turn. Wooly learned from Sebastian to pose, though he doesn’t take hand signals unless he wants to. Here, he’s sitting on his friend Wendy"s knee (Wendy hid behind he magazine), and her red sweater makes a perfect background color for “the Wool”. I put the magazine in there to draw out the white on his chest and toes. It featured an African Gray parrot, more purple than Wooly’s coat., and I had caught Wooly “reading” the article earlier.
