A Christmas thought

I recently travelled to the city of Boston in the US for work. I didn’t get any decent photos, but I did spend a day walking the Freedom Trail that takes you through the city and past most of the sights. Along the way I came across a holocaust memorial. It may seem to be an odd thing to bring up at Christmas, but the memorial had a number of quotes, and while technically horrible, this photo is my favourite from the trip.

Christmas seems as good a time as any to imagine that world. A world in which your only possession is but a piece of fruit, but more importantly, a world where you give your only possession to someone else as a gift.

Merry Christmas all, and I hope the new year brings much laughter.

Cheers.
