Most coral reefs are crawling in small shrimp, but most of them only come out at night. One of the great features of these amazing little animals is that their eyes reflect torch light. While I have seen many reefs around the world with alot of shrimps, I’ve never seen so many as at Ashmore Reef (Coral Sea, Australia) where it seems like the whole reef is seething with tiny reflective eyes.
