Artist's Description

I started this year with a pre-dawn photo so I figured I should finish with a sunset. Brisbane Water, Central Coast.

It has been quite a year to say the least. This is the end of 2012 in photos. I have made 366 days in a row of taking photos and publishing them here and on my site and I have, for the most part, loved doing this project. Some days it has been way to much for me but on the whole it has been a real pleasure to work on. It has helped me get out of the house more and see more of my local environment.

I have struggled some days getting an interesting photo particularly in the last month, but am really pleased I kept going. I would recommend a one photo per day project like this to anyone interested in photography but at the same time I will be pleased to have a few days off. I think. There will not be a 2013 in photos (although I do own the domain name…) but I will obviously keep shooting, just at my own pace without a deadline each evening.

I still have a bit more work to do, hopefully getting a book together in the next few weeks and making a few changes to the web site. I will update this post and my profile when this happens. I also have a lot of work to do updating my main site, davidosullivan.com.au

I hope you have enjoyed this series of photos as much as I have. Thank you everyone so much for your support.

And a special thanks to Lara for putting up with me so much! xx

This image is part of my personal photo per day project.
