I have been planning to do a particular star Trails shoot at long reef for months now. I need the sky to be clear of clouds, low tide at a reasonable time of night, little moon and several other things all working correctly, not to mention having enough energy to be there in the middle of the night.
These images are not those, but it is so close to all being working I thought I would take the opportunity to shoot some stars tonight.
With any luck I will be able to wake at 4 in the morning, (yes 4 hours from now) and try and get the shot, If not I will give it a break for a while and just enjoy these instead.
Taken near shelly beach, each image totals around 20 minutes of exposure.
