Artist's Description

Here’s the challenge: You can write your own title for this shot. It can be funny, punny, quirky, poignant, reflective, historical, hysterical – anything you like.

All you have to do to enter is submit your title as a comment here.

Yes, you can enter as many times as you want, on as many days as you want. You can keep coming back, looking at other people’s titles and keep adding your own. The contest will close at midday (Melbourne time) on Friday.

There’s only one rule: no profanity. Have fun …. I’m throwing the gauntlet down NOW!

This image was shot in Times Square, New York in June 2010.

I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F8, 1/125 sec, ISO 800, focal length 125mm.

AND HERE ARE THE RESULTS:

In tenth place we have Wanda Raines with ``Maybe I should have wore the proper clothes before I went on that interview, but I think they really liked my hair. They couldn’t stop looking at it.’’

In ninth place we have Pix-Elation with ``I told her she looked silly, but she just wouldn’t, erm, couldn’t listen.’’

In eighth place we have Linda Jackson with ``Does anyone know where the Pink Floyd concert is?’’

In seventh place we have Chelei with ``Gnome rogue with pink mohawk wants your data.’’

In sixth place we have Spencer Copping with ``Times Square came to standstill earlier today. NYPD blame rubber neckers.’’

In fifth place we have Robyn Carter with ``Love child of an illicit affair with the Mauritius Pink Parrot, goes looking for his father.’’

In joint fourth place we have Snapitnc with ``That carpet fitter has to go.‘’ and Linda Bianic with ``So that’s where my bath brush went! But it does make a cool mohawk!!’’

In third place we have LeslieBC with ``Does my head look too big in this outfit?’’

In second place we have Suzie Cheree with ``Fringe development.’’

AND THE WINNER IS

Georgie Hart with ``Never-say-die Roman centurions have found a way to influence American fashion from beyond the grave.’’
