Artist's Description

You know the only problem with having a church in a top-flight winery? Easy – the worshippers keep coming back three or four times during each service for more wine!

I shot this at the Fergusson Winery in Melbourne’s picturesque Yarra Valley six weeks ago (20 December 2010) because I was captivated by the location of this beautiful timber chapel, under the wide Australian summer sky. (And yes, in case you’re wondering, December really is our summer!)

I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F13, 1/500 sec, ISO 200, focal length 26mm.
