Artist's Description

That’s actually the sun in mid-afternoon, not the moon on a misty night.

This image has not been cropped or post-edited in any way. This was shot using a Pentax K100D, F13, 1/750th sec, ISO 200, with a focal length of 125mm using a Sigma 18-125mm lens.

I was on a guided hike through Kluane National Park in the gold rush region of the Yukon, Canada. The sunlight had been capricious all day, but during the rest period I looked up and this sight simply said: ``Photograph me’’.

I got some interesting shots that day, including one when a grizzly charged us!
