Artist's Description

The Garden Wall forms part of the Continental Divide between the Arctic and Pacific Oceans in North America. This view of a 1 billion year old raised seabed that has been eroded by time and raised and contorted by the collision of two crustal plates was taken from the slopes of Mt. Oberlin in Glacier National Park.

For mountain lovers the left peak is Bishop’s Cap and the right peak Mt. Gould.

The image was taken with a Nikon P80 and has been worked minimally with several simple Photoshop filters.
