These trees just begged me to photograph them when I was in the park a couple of weeks ago. Ok, so trees don’t really beg but you know what I mean don’t you.
Taken in the Phoenix Park here in Dublin, not far from a rather wide open expanse near the papal cross.
Taken on an old Russian made Kiev 6C medium format camera and using Ilford Hp5 120mm film.
The photo was hand printed by myself in a darkroom and then scanned on a thing called a scanner.

Dave, a wonderful trail winding through the trees. Tremendous contrast with the side lit sun on the trees. Looks like you have got the darkroom touch back. James
Thanks James, I have only had four sessions in the darkroom now but I am really getting back up to speed now. It’s such a lovely feeling printing my own work again after all these years.
