A plan day

Everyday is a new thought.
To ponder to which no one cares,
but we dream of nothing less
to lose all of our fears and regrets.
In days alone we walk
as the fire burns as the water weeps.
An feeling alone of passion, lust, and exaltation.
As the thirst runs down the throats of millions.
Look at the failure behind the bars,
while the hero hides behind the books.
As the children look at the days go by.
An along we still salute our flag with pride
we won’t lose the fight.
At the playground the bully awaits the cowards’ wrath.
An we never expected to see the shame.
The bodies rot and the milk gone stale,
like you promised to be there for your children play,
but we didn’t see the Holy Mother of God.
Instead we sat by the stars alone
an lost sight of what people really are,
but we never planned for this day to end.
