Artist's Description

This Mandala was created over many months; a process of adding form and colour grew from a desire to “put some pieces back together” in my life. It has feminine curves and swirls. I see it as symbolising that aspect of self. I called it a clown chakra; its a whimsical name.

Traditionally, chakras relate to the energy centres within a person, whereby the life force flows through. This is really a playful and cheeky approach to depicting an energy centre.

Original was coloured pencils & art pens on paper. Palette is red, orange, yellow, blue, purple.
