Artist's Description

This colonial sea squirt occurs in a variety of colours, and evidently flourishes in cooler month on South Australian jetty piles and rocky reefs. This specimen was photographed at Backy Point in approximately 5 metres of water. Backy Point marks the north-eastern tip of Fitzgerald Bay and is rarely dived or explored.
