Forgotten

The spring arrives, bringing hope,
But that is all that it brings.
No help, just hope,
Brought to a hopeless world.
And people are forgotten,
Just as this is a forgotten place.
And in this forgotten house,
In this forgotten room,
Lays a forgotten figure.
Noone knows, and
Noone cares,
Who this forgotten figure is
And she is glad to be forgotten.
To just lay down and ROT!
For forgettfulness is serenity,
And remembrance is pain.
Weak she is now, and when she dies,
Noone will come to her forgotten funeral.

And laugh in her forgotten face.
