Artist's Description

I had a dream one night of blood red light filling a darkened sky. There was two swans flying through the mist and I felt the the power of of their spirit.

There is a story of a ancient Irish god named Angus Mac Og. He fell in love with a maiden who turned into a swan for half the year and lived as a woman for half the year. For many months he searched for her, in vain. He asked his father the God of Druids for help and he failed. He asked his mother the Great River and she told him where he might find his love. At last he came upon a flock of swans, each with a crown around its neck connected by a chain to another. But he knew her, even in that form.

They flew away to the land of the fey singing a song of sleep and peace.

This was my expression of gratitude for the vision I received that night.
