Ocean’s Bliss

The rising waters of the sea,
The salty essence of the breeze,
Each footprint engraved in the sand,
The grains rough, coarse, compressed and damp.
Yet the sun shines through the wintry clouds,
Playing on the rippling waves,
Reflections of a mirror’s glaze.
A dazzling glory of light and foam,
As each wave smashes on its rocky home,
The rising arks, high and noble,
Incline their heads like graceful swans,
And the glittering fabric is the sheet
Of this mighty sea bed.

Come, be wrapped in its folds when times are heated,
Take in the fresh air with pure delight,
Let the salt clear you, let the waves heal you,
Let your heart beat as one with their rhythm,
Dance to Nature’s song.
Feel its music ripple through your soul,
Cleansing it to the joys of a moment:
A moment of stillness, a moment of peace,
There are too few of them now.
