I'm the man who makes it right

I’m the man who makes it right
And I’m the guy who can do it all night!
I ain’t the kind that’s afraid of a fight
You need a cigarette and I got the light!
So why do you look right past me when we meet
In the street.

You never smile
Or say hello
When I know
In my soul
That it’s you that I’d treat
So sweet,
See, I know I’m superman.
Batman and Robin got nothing on me,
Hell even Phil Mitchell goes pale when I get up in his business
but you’re kryptonite and I’m powerless against you

so all you see is a man
Brought down
Thrashing around
For something to say that won’t make me sound
Like a clown.
One day you’ll see me, you’ll hear what I’m saying,
I’ll finally make sense to you.
And then you’ll know what I know.

I'm the man who makes it right
