The Red Spotted Admiral resting on broad green leaves. The Red Spotted Admiral is a subspecies of Limenitis arthemis. It is identified by it’s iridescent blue wings with spots of red and white. It is commonly found along forest edges and open woodland. This Red Spotted Admiral was found along the nature trail at Sheldon Marsh Nature Pressure in Huron, Ohio.
