The Human Condition

When life escilates to a roar who is there to hear?
When life hits rock bottom do you remember those so near?

As you start each morning do you hold up your head?
As you go to bed each evening is it the next day you dread?

There are many blunders that I often overlook,
There are many situations that I may have mistakingly mistook.

I cry often all alone in my isolated shell
But then there are times that I throw back my head and laugh as well.

My life is a tapestry of which I try to stitch together every day.
My thread is my life and I remember to cherish it in every way.

Sometimes what I want to say is not at all what is said
Sometimes I start again at the beginning and creep slowly out of bed.

My spirit guides and faith keep my magic all around
My love for Mother & Father God keep me planted firmly on the the ground.

I wonder am I alone many times a day…
Then the phone rings at the right time and its a sister or a friend saying, “Hey”.

I am not perfect nor a saint in any shape or form…
I try to be thoughtful and watch what I say to avoid any storms.

Life is a blessing, curse, circle and the path is always long…
That’s why I prefer a life of words & happiness that keeps my tapestry bold and strong.

In a whole world filled with strife and problems day to day…
I want to be uplifting in every possible way…

Family is a treasure meant for each of us,
Family is a gift that only you can love.

Every time you feel alone remember my words so true,
You are never alone….. because I feel just like you.

So in the beginning of each brand new day,
Lift your head up and remain positive for it helps you find your way.

I am no expert just a soul who loves herself…
I wanted you to know I see you in your protective shell.

Again, when you hit rock bottom and there’s nowhere to start…
Pick yourself up and dust off your beautiful heart.

Because when all is said and done
You were deemed neccessary you are a chosen one.

I look forward to my struggles and to my joy and pain…
For without struggles there is nothing to gain.

Its not what you have lost but what you have learned and loved.
It is the tale, the pattern you weave from God above.

Your life is a story and you are the author
Remember this and Thank our Goddess Mother.

There is no right or wrong, and lessons to be learned everyday…
Only you can hold yourself accountable each and every way.

I am so grateful for my marriage, children and life…
I am proud to be who I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend and wife.
