His Time

His hands are wrinkled and his feet are too

If I need help I know he will know what to do

His smile is like rain on a warm July day

I know he has helped me out in every single way

His love is not said but shown instead

I will always think of the life he has led

His eyes are a reminder of what a father should be

I know he will always have a special place just for me

His body is fragil and his organs are worn

I love that he has been there for me since i was born

His age is no longer young but his heart is the same

I will always be proud of my grandfathers name

His muscles are weak and his hair is thin

I have told him i love him over and over again

His life has changed and he realized what he had

I know mom loves that he is her dad

His marriage life has been with only one women

Im sure he loves her now as much as way back when

His sleep is shorter and his troubles increase

I wish I could give him back time all that i have every single piece

His mind sometimes wonders and he forgets things alot

I want him to know I love him if it takes everything I got

His time is getting shorter and his days are not as long

I know he should be forgiving for all that he has done wrong

His young years are over and they wont return

I remember all that he has taught me all i could learn

His time may be coming but I wont let him go

He is more than a grandfather he is part of my sole

His Time
