Cry-Aki

I am an artist who began creating “Cry Pop Art” from a deeply personal place. In my twenties, I lost the man I loved. But because of my social environment and circumstances, I couldn’t fully grieve or allow myself to cry. Those unspoken emotions—those tears I could never release—stayed inside me for years. Through Cry Pop Art, I aim to create a space where it is safe to feel— for those who were never allowed to cry, and for the version of myself who couldn’t.
