I'm a Massachusetts-based painter who specializes in Pop Surrealism and Lowbrow. My preferred mediums are oil, quill pen and ink and sometimes acrylic. I use traditional methods such as the Flemish seven layer method to build dense, rich backgrounds, and often mix accidental/abstract components with realism to create my fantasy landscapes and scenes. Some themes are brightly whimsical, others more political and disturbing. To all of this, I bring my own lowbrow twist, often with dark humor.
