Artist's Description

Although it’s not the most important of the countless majestic monuments of the Istanbul, Leandro’s Tower (or “Maiden’s Tower” or “Kiz Kulesi” in Turkish) is one with great symbolism, because it stands on a tiny island, in the heart of Bosphorus, somewhere between Europe and Asia (you can still see in the background some of the most majestic buildings of the old town, from left to right, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi).
Photo taken from the Asian side of Istanbul.
