Above Plaka, Milos' capital, on the way to Kastro, the old castle of the island, you can enjoy on of the most spectacular sunsets of the Aegean.
You can also see the remains of the old castle and three beautiful churches. The one to the left, is Panagia Thalassitra (1738) and a bit more to the right is the tiny church of Panagia Eleousa. On the top of the castle you can also visit another church, Mesa Panagia or "Skinitiossa".
In the photo, you can see the entrance of one of the largest natural harbours of the Mediterranean, the Milos Gulf. To the left, you can see the edge of the one "branch" of Milos, the Vani Cape. If you ever reach there (through dificult dirtroads) you 'll see one of the most unexpected greek landscapes, the abandoned iron mines, with incredible red rocks, a "far west" scenery . You can also see the uninhabited island of Antimilos or Erimomilos.
